June 13 Thursday 6:00 pm	Merion Civic Association Centennial Party   Merion Tribute House   625 Hazelhurst Ave, Merion Station, PA Bring blankets and lawn chairs if you wish. There will be games, raffles, activities for children, a selection of food samplings from sponsoring restaurants and a lively concert of patriotic music provided by the Merion Concert Band. Speakers: include Brian Gordon, Commissioner from Merion, State Senator Daylin Leach and Congressman Chaka Fattah.

July 4 Thursday  all day	Independence Day observance   Lower Merion Township Bldg, 2nd Floor   75 East Lancaster Ave, Ardmore Township Administrative Offices and Libraries will be closed for business in observance of Independence Day. There will be no Refuse or Recycling Collections on Tuesday and a Refuse and Recycling holiday collection schedule is in effect for this week in observance of Independence Day. July 8 Monday 7:00 pm	Merion Civic Association Family Phillies Night   Citizens Bank Park   Philadelphia, PA 19148 Join our group of 50 friends and neighbors enjoying Phillies baseball at beautiful Citizens Bank Park with discounted tickets, as we watch the home team take on the rival Washington Nationals. Our reserved seats are in right field – prime territory to catch a Ryan Howard home run ball and to remind Jayson Werth why he misses Philadelphia. Tickets for the game are $25. September 22 Sunday 1:00 pm  -4:00 pm	Merion Civic Association House and Garden Tour   Citizens Bank Park   625 Hazelhurst Ave, Merion Station, PA Led by the Lower Merion Conservancy, a tour of Merion’s stately homes and gardens is being planned for the early fall. October 5-6 Saturday  -Sunday 8:00 am -  5:00 pm	Lower Merion Clean Up Weekend   Lower Merion Public Works Complex   1300 N Woodbine Ave, Penn Valley, PA 19072 Free disposal of refuse and recyclables. Township crews will help residents unload. Recyclable material must be separated from other household trash. Proof of residency required (such as driver's license). See Lower Merion Clean Up Weekend.
