Q: What is Merion?

A: Merion is a community in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, PA.

The United States Postal Service suggests using the address "Merion Station, PA" to help distinguish our community from the three townships named "Marion, PA" in the state.

The Merion Civic Association includes residents in an area bounded by City Avenue, East Wynnewood Road, Rockland Road, the Amtrak Railroad, Narberth Avenue, Haverford Avenue, Montgomery Avenue, Old Lancaster Road. Although most of this area is in Lower Merion Ward 12, there are some residents in LM Wards 7, and 9 (so they are represented by different Lower Merion Commissioners), some even have the Narberth zip code.

The postal zip code 19066, "Merion Station", also includes residents NOT in the Merion Civic Association area. The Merion Park Civic Association covers the Merion Park area, which also uses zip code 19066.

A: Residents in Merion are represented by three Lower Merion Township Commissioners.

Ward 7: Liz Rogan
East side of Rockland Road, Winchester Road, Kenilworth Road, west side of Glenwood Road. Most of this ward is in Wynnewood.
Ward 9: George Manos
Includes East side of Upland Road, Edgehill Road, Stoneway Lane and Orchard Road. Most of this ward is in Bala Cynwyd.
Ward 12: Brian Gordon
All Merion residents not in wards 7 or 9.
